Default Anyone seen these buggies? X-18 Intimidator - Ecotec, CVT

A buddy just emailed me this. *I have not seen these yet. *Ecotec, CVT, C/O's, Bypass, Power Steering, Glass body. *21"/16" Travel. *Kinda looks like the F1 panther cars. *I can't believe the price though. *24 grand! *I wonder how good they will hold up. *Also, whose shocks are those? *Whose FNR?

I'll admit, I am jealous of the bodywork.

That looks like a pretty decent deal with the cost of stuff nowadays. Where's it made, and anyone have one yet?

It's built in China, just has an ecotec in it and knockoff shocks and FNR....

I believe they used to be these guys and changed their name.

http://www.velocityind.com/

Not bad but ya china buggy and some parts then with american and with
the ecotech and assembly here.

Used to be one color frame with a few body colors with plastic bodies.

If you check for the velocity thread someone talked to them and saw one.

I saw some video of the f1 panther and China or not I was impressed.I'm not a real big fan of alot of there stuff but I have to admit that they are coming up in a big way it seems?I just dont understand how they can do it for so cheap, all you see is those joyners on e-bay.My buddy has one for his 4 year old and he loves the thing, and he beats on it.You can buy 1 from here or 3 from them for same price,I have thought about them before cause I have so many kids.Lets see 3 joyners for 6000 or three from different us company for about 20-25000?Kind of sucks but when you have fast growing kids that will grow out of them fast it kind of makes sense. And no I haven't bought any Chinese buggies but I will tell you that my kids wanted to sale there qouads after driving the two seater Joyner all day?

I can't really judge the fitment of the car, it's not like mine is a production car where everything is perfect either. I guess the main thing I would be worried about is the gearbox. *I am sure you can probably just replace the gearbox with a real one from RPM since I am sure they just copied it or whatever. *The shocks may be questionable but who knows on those. *Someone here go buy one and let us know.

Hmmmm, I think I might be out in Temecula later in the week. I think I know where that place is. I'll have to stop by and take a look.
