Hello, I have been reading just about all the post and can't find where anyone talks about what chain they are using. On my 2006 SSC Turbocharged Hayabusa I broke the chain the first 30 minutes I had it. I have checked the alignment of the sprokets and it is good. I think it was due to the chain being loose. I was curious what chain everyone is using. I have found several chain manufacture's and one of the strongest 530 chains I've found is the XP Extreme Performace chain claiming 16000 lb tensile strength. Any susgestions???? I was also cusious if anyone has had any problems with popping the clutch or double clutching to get that cool wheelie evryone likes to see? I'm afraid to break a chain again...

so what chains do you use?? right now I am using a stock hayabusa chain. I also have a TK drz chain as back up due it not being a o-ring type. I also have TK zzz to use but I 'm also trying to figure out a better tensioner than a slidr pad that SSC uses..

Sidewinder TiMoly is supposed to be really strong. That is what I use on my car.

IMO if you are snapping 530 chains you might want to look into stepping up to a 630 chain.....I switched mine last season because the 530 chain(s) I used kept stretching (zzz chain). I went with a RK SO630 chain at the begining of last season....I just checked it for stretch and found that it only stretched about 1.5mm compared to the 530's half link plus stretch.
Tensile strength is only as good as the amount of material backing it up......

We're using DID 530 chains, never had one break....although the turbo's can cause some stretch, but not nearly as much as the RK chains we were using.
