If that's all she's worried about, tell her it's not much to worry about!! The only time i have ever even been stung by a scorpion was when I was hiking in Northern Cali......ironic!! lol!! *
If you are looking into areas to live - here are some of the nicer ones.... Chandler (I love it here, East Valley....mix of older and newer homes...) Queen Creek - this is in the south east valley - longer commute, but alot of nice homes down there with some good property sizes.... Gilbert - VERY nice town - next to Chandler - east valley - can be more expensive.....but really nice place to raise your kids..... Scottsdale of course - but who can afford it?? LOL! North West Phoenix is pretty nice in some areas.....lots of newer stuff out there.... Apache Juntion - used to be laughed about...lots of trailers on acres out there, but lately, that's the newest cool place to buy a home....you can get a good sized lot for a good price, and build a nice home....or buy one from someone that has already done it - really pretty out there, right up against the Superstitions......really pretty!! I'd move out there..... Anyway - if you get serious, let me know *- I can give you lots of info.... |

Hey Franco. *Do you know John and Kim W.....???? *They live in Canyon Lake (Which is definately the nicest place in the (909) and a lot of other areas at that. *I'll take Canyon Lake over Long Beach or any part of LA any day). *They've got a ski boat and he just sold his Chenowth. *Their neighbor builds LT Rhino's and he's trying to talk them into buying one. *They've been family friends for 30 years.
I only saw a scorpion once and I actually got stung by it before I saw it. *It was over at my father in laws friend's house by Squaw Peak. *It was in his couch. *It wasn't really that bad it just burned a little for a day or so. *I never saw one in Peoria. |

How about going out in front of your house and taking a picture in four different directions? Thanks for all the info on the scorpions, it will definately help.

Also. *ANYTHING north of Union Hills in Phoenix is pretty nice. *In Phoenix, all of the streets run N/S or E/W which make it pretty easy for new people to get around. *All the numbered Streets and Avenues run N/S (it changes right in the middle of phoenix from Streets (ex. 7th St.) which are east of Central Avenue to Avenues which is west of Central (ex. 67th Ave.). *Both the streets and avenues count down to Central Ave. *It gets a little confusing at first. *The Named streets run E/W.

yeah....i was hiking, and sat down on a big, black hairy scorpion.....felt like someone was twisting a daggar in my leg for hours....I got really sick and my leg swelled up so bad I couldn't put jeans on for over a week.....really wierd. *So....I hate scorpions.....
I'll see if I can find some pics for you - going out front and taking them in my neighborhood won't let you see much.....houses all around....but give me a few days....I'll see what I can come up with..lol! And yeah - anything North of Union Hills is nice......most of it, anyway - New River has some really nice houses... |

I would stay in Michigan. *We have a season for every kind of fun you can have, lots of off road trails, running on the ice in the winter is awesome, and plus we have Silver Lake. *Sure the cold sucks but it's not to bad...

Union Point Ga......Nothing, and I mean NOTHING there but Durhamtown Plantation....Greatest offroad park in the South East....Miles of wide one-way trails, nicely manacured jumps and table-tops throughout the trail system, and motocross tracks that they will let me run my pilot on....
Heaven for trail riders.... Never been to the desert, so can't say much about those places.... Hoodlum |
