Panthers rock.
These rear trailing arms were figured out by a guy in Oregon who kept bending he stock design. He used 3/4 x 1/12 .095 rec tube. A little heavier would not hurt much for a heavier machine/rider. The orange one was also built for a bigger guy (Ironically it went to a guy in Texas.... :] Go fig) You can see the taller sides to make more room. The guy favored sled motors but a bike motor works too if thats your liking. The front end of a Panther is good but a little front end know-how can make it better and personnaly anything with over 30 hp NEEDS front brakes in MY opinion. So that can be addressed easy enough at that part of the build. I also added a pic of a Panther front end that uses tabs that stick out for the front A-arms mounts instead of the holes in the tubes. (The whie bodies with gray flames one) You can also widen the plans a bit. For more sideways room. I plan to do this to allow handlebars for steering and controls. I like a setup JUST like a quad or bike or sled with handlebars more than a car setup with a wheel and carlike feet controls. But thats me. I am also using larger tube than the plans call for. It will not be a Panther but perhaps just Pantheresque?
