It was like the Rhino/toy hauler show. Most of the buggys there were like a collection of bad enginerring. I must be getting jaded.

I did how ever see a new Rhino body that I thought was the best looking body I have ever seen on one.

This thing was flat out awesome, build wise and looks wise.

Ya sand show was a bit smaller.. saw everything in just a few hours.. that's even with me talking to everyone.
Some nice stuff.. a lot less than last year... mostly just up grades or better details then last year.. and some old stuff and everything in between.
Everyone was very friendly though and had good additudes and talked about work etc. and of course hitting the desert and playing!
Seems like people are at least working on stuff, some small and some big but at least more work so that is a good thing.

I took a few pics of the mini buggies I did see and will post them probably tomorrow.
I won't be at the show today I have to work and get some stuff done.
But very cool that you guys where down and I hope you have fun and safe drive back home.

Oh it was warm and the lines for drinks were long.. ha ha.
Decent amount of people went.. good weather for the show and for 10 bucks to go look at stuff it was not half bad. I know a lot of people etc. so I enjoy going so I can talk to everyone in one place in one day so I really enjoy the shows.
Nothing totally new.. nothing blew me away.. nothing super impressive.. clean.. more details.. etc. but some nice clean and well done improvements on a arms, turbos, etc.
Just some nicely done clean cars.. and tons of details.. every year the buggy builders attention to details just gets better and better and cars just look nicer and nicer.
The Monster car from Buckshot had so many people around it I did not get a photo of it but it has a complete enterior.. complete.. I mean cleaner than my truck inside! Very nice.
But the price for something like this is ... horribly expensive to take to the sand.. right. So ya for us normal people not even.. but still cool to see and again the details is what is nice to see and get ideas for building your own buggies etc.

I did see several.. well maybe as many as 5 builders of mini buggies with ecotecs in their cars.
That was big compared to last year.
Paint jobs more wild as always, lights, stereos, turbos, nice rims and tires, sweet colors for powder coats out there. Pretty much the same just a little better than last year as far as clean and more detials as always. Not more, less than last year as paying for the show is a lot etc. but the people that did show brought some clean cars and nice details.
Did not see Extreme do the big lights, stereo and hanging sand cars..

But it did seem more laid back and people were good on just talking and answering questions and not pushy just talking and a lot of people were joking and having fun.
I rate it higher than last year as far as attitude and people but smaller on cars etc.

Rhino and parts are on the climb. Heck the long travel boxed mini rhino arms would and will work perfect for a lot of you guys building mini buggies.. keep your eyes out for those. Super cool.

Well cool... if you think about going today might as well it is a good day outside and get to walk around and get ideas for your own car or frame to build etc. Not a waste of time or money for 10 bucks a movie cost that and you will at least spend more time looking and getting ideas at the Sand Sports show. I suggest taking a look and going if you were thinking on it.

Well cool I will try to do pics Monday.

ha ha.. Whip I thought of you right away when I saw that bug! New you would like it. Sorry we did not see one another. But ya super cool.

And Yep that is the Monster from buckshot I was talking about.. wow it was super clean and really the detail and attention to detail was amazing! Like I said the interior was so clean. Dang.
Oh ya the 1,500 twin turbo was cool to.. ha ha.

I saw a couple cars and a rhino from members actually at the show so that was fun.
Did not get to talk to them.. Sorry.
But it was cool to see their work in person.. The rhino with street motor and long travel was well
done and looked great. Very cool.
The full body rhino with the sweet body was also nice and the fully mini class 1 boxed a arms was just impressive.
I am serious a lot of this stuff could totally work on mini buggies easily.
This is where you guys who want 4 wheel drive mini buggies should be looking for parts is from
the side by sides. Wow.

My photos are on my wifes camera.. so I am afraid I may not be able to get them.. for awhile.
Dang.. Nothing to big anyways but if I come across any I will post up.

Well cool glad to see a few people on here went and I only wish I would have met you guys.
I did wear my Tut Tech shirt just in case someone saw it they would say hi.. but sorry no.
Oh well next year or maybe at the dunes we will have to meet up.

We were back in the corner with UTV Mayhem and Eclipse RV but the show was a little smaller then last year so I think most people got te really see everything there.

Met a few members there and it was great talking to you. Here's a few pics from the show of my car.

here's some pics of it at the sand show out in the sun light.
Also got my GPS mounted
