Default New Lights on my Light bar

Trail Glow delivered our new lights for Peppers next night race. As she is going to have to see at night to both finish and hopefully pull off another win we needed some better lights for the light bar.
So we contacted the best light guy we know, Paul at Trail Glow to get some new HID lights for the light bar so Pepper will be able to see her way through the night and to the finish line.

Paul brought over the lights personally and delivered them to us!
How cool, but wait there's more. He also had our Logo etched onto the lens to make them official Tut Tech Racing lights! Now that's awesome!

Check this out. Here are the new lights on the light bar.
(They are very light and very bright.)

Here is a close up of the lens with our logo.

Very cool and I am more impressed with Trail Glow now then ever!
Great products at the lowest prices I have found anywhere, great customer service. Bringing stuff to our house personally just to make sure we have them in time for the race and totally surprising us with our logos on our lights! How Awesome.
I am so impressed and now I want all of our lights to match so ordered new bottom lights with our logo also so we can run all Trail Glow HID lights with logos. I will post pics when they arrive.

Plus Trail Glow is re doing our side panels to include our logo and reversing the numbers to make the entire panel stand out and look even better! Man this guy does not stop. I will have the new panels on soon and will post pics.

Thanks for looking.

Those are WAY COOL.
What type of lights are they? They look a bit like the Dominators...

they look cool, what is the amp draw on that circut? I would like to install a bank of lights. Do you have them on there own circut and fuse? Do they need a relay or just a heavy duty switch?

The lights are sweet!.

I get it now. You've been trying to get Pepper to do this, and now that you have her where you want her. You can do what you love.....work on cars!

The lights I forget the draw but pretty low as you can run two on a single switch, as Paul from TrailGlow told me I can wire them to a single heavy duty switch no relay is needed.
You wire up two lights per switch. My old lights which were conversion kits to turn my normal lights into HIDs drew a lot more and I ran two of them on one heavy duty switch also no realay and the switches have lasted over 2 years now and I just wired these new lights up to those switches.

Very easy, one switch per two lights. I have one switch to turn on my center two lights and one switch to turn on my outer two lights. Each wired on there own power wire and a 30 amp fuse for both of them. No problems and everything has worked great.

The lights are made by Paul at TrailGlow. They are bought and assembled by him.
He uses a special mix of % of white to blue to yellow HID bulb etc. the lenses I believe are lexan? and ABS housing to keep everything light. They are very light and I can now lift my light bar and install it on the car by myself which I could not do before with the other lights.

Here is a photo showing the whiteness of the TrailGlow top lights compared to my bottom HID lights.
They are more clear and brighter.

As for my old lights sorry but two of them stopped working.. as they were conversions
I did get a good deal as they wanted me to use them and show how well they could work off roading but they did not hold up to racing.
Two of them I will keep for my next build etc. so sorry buddy.

Well very cool and like I said the best prices I have seen on HIDs and he can custom etch logos
etc onto your lights so no one can steal them, they look cool with your logo name etc and its fun.

Here is his link.
TrailGlow Lighting- Your #1 Source for Off Road and Race Lighting
(Check out the quick video that opens up when you go to his site with our buddy UBRT racings TrailGlow light bar lighting the way... There Awesome!!)

Well now that my wife is racing you are correct I Have To Work on the car for her.
Really for her not me. So cool I get a free work on the car pass all I want because I have
to keep the car in top shape for her to race with it.
Not to mention do side work to pay for "HER" racing...

The draw on each light is less than 3 amps. 2.89 amps to be exact.
So I run the sealed 20 amp switches which means all 4 of my top lights could actually go onto one switch with these lights if I really wanted. But I like them being seperated into pairs. 2 center and then the 2 outers.

Anyways hope that helped and my new 7 inch driving lights just came back from having the lenses etched with my logo so TrailGlow is putting them together so I will have them this week and post new pics probably next weekend with all the lights on the car.

Thanks.
