well you probably would. its always easier to say that when you own a lambo.ur a worry son
there are a bunch of Smart cars here in Boulder. I would love to pull up in a Smart and rip up the streets in downtown Boulder. can't really do that with the bull. it's very capable, it just like a little more room to run

I like the way the new Can AMs (BRP) look
I wish I had paid attention in school now
Is the RPM box the best solution for a street car?

Owl you need to check local laws. A diff may be a requirement. I do not think you can get the RPM with a diff? (Could be wrong but I think I am right)

Just remember if the law says you need a diff even if you get it street legal past an state inspector but get in a wreck a lawyer will make sure they check to see if you have one. If your supposed to have something and do not guess what. Your guilty. Same goes for front brakes. Nor can you blame the inspector who missed them. Its YOU who will pay.

This may come across a bit raw but its to help you protect your tail. Any kind of assembled roadster or severly modified car (and what you want to build will meet those requirments) will be tore apart by a lawyer if there ever is an "OOPS!" A specialty car such as this will be blamed before a regular street car made by a factory. EVEN if the accidents not your fault!

Make sure a diff is not required where your at. Same goes for front brakes and anything else.

Dan has done at least one RPM w/a diff. Not sure how, but I know he's done it.

Contact Danno via PM or via his web site, which you'll find in his signature line in his profile.

Keep in mind that the Smart car builds put the engine in the passenger seat, making it a one seater.

If you want to carry a VICTIM in your car consider an old Mini. Engine in the back seat. Complete riot.

That's incorrect, motor stays in the rear. I've seen one motor in the passenger seat, but that was a complete tube chassis with a smart shell only.......

I stand corrected. A Smart car is not so dumb after all!
