The rear a arm brackets are made from 3"x 1 5/8" channel 5/16" thick.
The rear axle stuff is 1", not 1 1/4" and I bought all the parts from Princess Auto.

what kind of metal did you use for the rear a arm bracket? It looks like you used a small I-Beam or something? Also, where did you buy your u joints for the rear axle? You're using 1 1/4 axle shaft right?

They are Brass bushings I bought from TSC and I drilled the a arm pipes out an inch on each side so the bushings would fit in there snug

My buggy is not done yet and probably won't be until the spring. The back shocks are off of a Honda 400 EX and the front are from a Honda 250 enduro. I don't think the front shocks are going to be heavy enough though.

Hi Banditbuggy I have a Honda 200cc angine out of a Big Red trike. It has high, low and reverse.
It was a shaft drive engine so it sits in the frame sideways. I have to find or make a sprocket to go where the drive shaft yoke was.
I guess I should post some more pictures on my build thread lol.
Are you going to start a build thread on here? It would be great to see some pics of the work you have done.

i'm building the exact same buggy as you. I have the floor, belt line and the rear sections basically built. What kind of engine are you thinking for your buggy? This is my first building project, so it should be an interesting one. I hope to hear from you, so we can compare buggys
