I have never been real diplomatitic
My solution would be to go to their houses and talk with them directy...With the fiber optic sighted 870 12 guage plainly visable in the car with me...and the obvious pipe lump in my jacket...
Be polite but firm...do it to each and every one of the punks...1rst one that even looks at you funny...Put him in the hospital...with the warning that if you sit time...he better be where you can't find him when you get out...Oh wait thats why I sat time for assault with intent to kill
Seriously I'd do the above without the assaulting them part...Well I'd personally just drag them out of their cars and piss pound them...I have freinds with badges
To keep snomobiles off your property post it ...Then after they run over your signs... get your hands on a old spool of BARBED WIRE ...string out about 100 feet...stake down the spool...set it on "jacks" BELOW THE BUMPER LINE AND ABOVE THE SKI TIPS...And wait till one of them comes up to your door wanting to borrow your wire cutters...Call the sheriff...and have them arrested for vandalism, and tresspassing...This does work and is very affective...The barbed wire pretty much is harmless to the machine it just gets wrapped up it the track and stops the sled cold...Glad I could help
Spec.

Well, i once was told this story about a guy that wouldn't pay a contractor for putting up a new door... The short version is that the contractor went over there while he knew the guy was at work then made a form around the door and filled it with concrete...

But that's just what i was told.

I have always delt with my neighbors through a more diplomatic manner. I buddied up with a couple of cops from around here, some city some county and quite a few state troops. They work with me on the "good ol' boy" system. They do a favor here and there for me, and I just end up grabbing a bar tab or taking which ever one helped and his wife out. Win win situation, and I don't have to get my hands dirty.

Turns out this guy didn't like me following him everywhere he went for a couple days. The cops were called on me and they told him I was breaking no laws they knew of and maybe he could try not being an ass on my road. So far hes been driving by pretty decently. I aint had an issue in a few weeks now.

Hes a bit bigger than me but I found out hes one wrong neck twist away from being paralized for life. Hes pretty messed up. He now knows I know this. Its good to know things.

I would NOT be surprised if they try something. But I have been making some preparations just in case someone gets really stupid.

JDM-Just dont go the old rope across the trail way. Good chance someone would end up dead from that one. Snow fence is cheap, and then also if you have a way to, putting down some large boulders across that 50 ft also with the snow fence. They may think they can cut fence, but noone wants to mess up the tunnel or belly on their sled.
NUTZ- Good going! That's using your mind. And now, hopefully the cops have some sort of a written record of your ongoing dispute you have been having.

And JDM, you can usually get the boulders free from farmers. They pull em outa their fields every year and just need them gone.

The cops have a VAST record of my complaints. I called them one day and they did not show after two plus hours. I called back to ask if I was guaranteed to NOT have a cop in my area for the next half hour and one showed up within minutes. They must think I was gonna do sumthin silly. Its all in how you ask I guess.
