Good point.Still lotsa torque and shaft drive would make an awesome combination for the cruiser crowd.

Actually, there are quite a few out there. Old farts seen to crash as much as squids. It doesn't take much damage to total one out. The bike that mine came from only had fairing damage. I know a place in Texas with 2 complete motors, A while back I was thinking of getting a spare. After watching that and some recent conversations with a few knowledgeable Wing owners, I passed.

They just don't get as much advertising as they aren't as popular. Price is less than a Busa too.

anyone know the specs on the goldwing. one of my buddys ownes an older one-not that impressive. last year his mom and dad got rearended on there 03 goldwing. didnt get hurt from that but it caused them to fall over and she busted her hip. she said no more of that. they bought a new one and had it triked. its bad ass and it rips to. highly doubt it would come close to a busa though.

Specs are , 125HP and 118TQ, motor weight 275#'s. There's another easy 10 HP in the exhaust and a turbo kit in the works for a reliable 200HP and 200TQ. The torque is whats going to make this thing drivable.

Torque is nice but higher rpm HP is nice also.Just depends on your driving style.I thought about using the GW before I fell in love with busas.

Yeah, HP is nice and on a light car you can get away with less TQ, but have you seen the behemoth I'm building? This is like a government project, way over cost, way behind schedule and way over wieght......
