I don't think the thread should have gotten deleted. I think the crap should have been edited out but there was an extreamly large amount of good info on tubing that is now gone, one of the best places i've seen with all that info in one spot.....

yes, but there is a cost to every action, and the only 3 people that got good info was you masterfab and myself, and we will all probbaly not forget. there is plenty info on the net for newbies to search.. nothing that you masterfab and i dont know now....so let the newbies and other guys do the work and find on there own... 8)

I disagree, the more info this site contains, the more popular it will be. The info wasn't just for us either, most of the info on ERW DOM and Chromo is rating numbers which is what 99 percent of the topics argue about in every forum i've ever seen it debated over. This topci took into account the whole design as well as the material and made alot of good points. The fact that ERW was not made against the rules until recently and wasn't made against the rules for failure is something I had never heard until this site. I was talking to a buddy about it and that's why I brought it up. Yerp, lot of good info that's now gone...

The genisis of the deleted post was to point out a specific car, material of selection and getting kicked off a board for expressing an opinion. It swerved here and there bashing, thrashing and trashing - amid some helpful information.

Make a post that discusses the good and bad of material selection without personal attack. Respectfully agree to disagree and say why.

This board has grown this past year. We are responsible to adhere to Rusty's (Amergin's) vision of this community. We welcome all ages and present content suitable for all.

i agree, and it really should not be genes job to spend his time editing and or removing our garbage.. that would have been possible, but i surely did not want him to have to do that....he needs to be working on his car not babysitting, yoshi masterfab and myself.... 8)
