You're Welcome...

Actually depending on what kind of paint you used. Next time you could buy a low cost powder coating setup. There are clear powder coats that back at 400F and are quite impressive in strength and luster.

I am not a painter by any means, but Porshe has a new color scheme that incorporates, flat black stripes on a gloss black finish. And I know that they clear the flat. All you have to do is come up with a multi million dollar paint room, and I am sure that it is really easy!!!!! But then again, who would be painting a bike at that point????

If they do it like any of the professional painters; the black is actually all gloss. They simply mask off for the clear coating.

Besides, some of the best paint I have seen came from some guys garage that is sealed in plastic, using a $150 gun and PPG paint.

A friend of mine can take a can of krylon and have it match or exceed OEM paint. All it takes is practice and a bit of patience.

I have done some custom paint jobs out of my garage. So far I have painted 4 Harley's, I don't have any pics on this computer but Maybe i'll transfer some a post'em up. I could have done a lot more to this bike but it's for a 4yr old who is gonna throw it in the dirt most of the time! So no need to get too crazy

thanks

most good paint suppliers carry a flattening agent you add it to the clear or colour to get a flat apperence.

I knew there was a flattening agent for mixing your own paint, but was unsure if they had it in a spray can. I'll try to post some pics of the bikes I've painted tonight. Thanks
