SO did you bash your buddy when he clearly made a turd of a structure and it fell over? Or did you offer him some pointers and he chose not to accept them? I don't remember any bashing in that thread when the structure was clearly sub-standard as shown by is failure.

Oh,YES ,I eff with him constantly about it.From where I come from that's how we do things.I also offer my advise and he as well as anyone else is free to take it or leave it.He knows he should have listened.He IS listening this time. FWIW there's too many thin skinned people in the world that are just looking for something to cry about.

That makes my point perfectly. Screwing with a friend and offering them advice is different than what is happening here in this thread. I don't see anyone offering any advise on how to make his work any better. Just a bunch of negative feedback on what he has done. Lets say for instance:

Hey man your welds look like crap. Have you cut any apart and inspected them for penetration, cracks, voids and so on? Maybe you should take a couple welding classes and practice some more.

Perhaps this person may come across this thread and learn something. Maybe there is someone reading this thread and is afraid to ask the questions due to the hostile enviroment that is brewing.

I do agree with you on your last statement on the think skin. I just don't see the point of bashing people other than Ego stroking.

I don't disagree in the least but the guys not here.He did not post his stuff up here. He did not ask anyone for advise or opinions.He's selling them to the public. Who exactly were we to give advise to? I don't have a clue. I agree that if he were a member here that the right thing to do would be to offer advise and suggestions. Debate and or discuss the topic to learn all we can about a subject from both sides. Maybe fresh ideas will come from it-hopefully anyway. On the other hand though sometimes those suggestions or questions are taken wrong and seen as bashing. It's the old saying"damned if you do and damned if you don't." This is not a world where we can make everyone happy all the time.
