Honestly if you are going to build a spindle you beter make damn shure it is solid. Those things are not. Snap one of those puppies doing 70+, which most of our cars can do, and you are done. When it comes to other peoples lives you need to make shure you know what you are doing. IMO its like someone building a cars out of 1-1/2 conduit because all the other cars use 1-1/2 tube, but because they dont know what they are doing they sell you a crappy death trap. Its cool if you are learning and built a set of spindles for your own car and know they are untested and therefore need to be tested safely but to try and produce a product for the market thats a whole other thing. Not to mention he is selling them for way too much for what they are..

The turd is still a turd.THe guy obviously is clueless and likely does not want any help.Even if he does is it our place to nurture him and coddle him without being asked to? NO. I'm really getting tired of reading how we need to help these "young" guys with our years of experience. We should offer our ideas and help to anyone that asks for it. We should also not ignore things we see and are concerned about. There's plenty of young guys that know what they're doing on this site and just because we're old farts,myself included, somehow we know more? What a load! Age has nothing to do with whether a design or practice is good or not. The turd is a turd and needs to be called one. This site is about free exchange of opinions and any attempt to turn it into a nicey nicey politically correct we can't say anything negative thing will not happen since many of us have a clue about what is talked about here(regardless of age) and if it does then this site will be just another "pat the guy on the back" useless site. Progress comes from being honest. Age has NOTHING to do with advise being good or not.So all of us old farts need to come down off our high horses and get over the notion that only old farts know what we're doing and need to help the "younguns'" see the light. I've heard about all of that I can stand. Plenty of the young ones are very capable and know a lot more than some old farts do. Give the young guys the credit they deserve and quit being condescending. I'm not "calling out" anyone.

It seems to me that anything I say that is positive and constructive is ignored by my detractors and if I say anything the least bit negative or questioning I'm jumped all over.Hell I might as well be in politics. I'm not about to stop questioning anything.If that's viewed as negative or bashing so be it. I'm all for continuing to learn.NEVER have I felt I know more than anyone else or been uninterested in hearing and debating any other points of view. I learn something new everyday. Or in my case I'm a basher if I question or disagree with anything. Yes this thread is bashing the things.I bashed them.So did others.They need bashed here so no members that are not as "wise" as some of the "old farts"(regardless of age)here can be aware of how big a pile they are and will not be victimized by this "builder". Part of having experience comes IMO a responsibility to "protect" those of any age from making the same mistakes we have made.If that's what bashing is I'm all for it. I wish I had had some bashing done early on before my piles got so big!
