Aparently the Semi DID have a backup-plan and followed thru with it. I laughed but I gotta admit I feel a little bad for the tow truck driver. Talk about a bad turn of events. Bill

That tow truck had outriggers. They don't do much good when there not extended. I showed it to a friend that drives a similar sized tow rig. He had no sympathy for the amatuer......

Also, the airbrakes should have been locked.....

Well I am certain when it rolled they weren't set, how many peep you think would climb in and set them?

Been a long long time since I jacked with trucks, but, if you disconnected the glad hand would not the trailer brakes lock?

The brakes are supposed to lock if the glad hands are disconnected. Being that the truck tipped while they were still hooked up and rolling it was a simple but costly oversight. The vaccum system was working good. Someone should have climbed in and popped the brake valve while it was on its side. Bill
