I used to do maintenance for a grocery store owner. He started calling tooltime, because my name is Tim Allen. It is my real name, unlike Tim Allen, the comedian. His real name is Tim Dick. I wonder why he changed his name?

Contrary to k-fabs obvious envy,( joke) mine came from my buddies. I always laughed at it cause I never have really felt that what I build is anything different than what others should be able to do.Like so many others on this site it just comes naturally and seems like no big deal to build things. But like home run hitters that strike out often going for that homer many of us "masters of fab" have very large scrap piles of mistakes or failed designs. Just goes with the territory. Sort of like BBQ buggy .It started out to be a rock crawler.Hence the goofy shape for a sand buggy.Should have gone on the scrap heap where it is now but I learned A LOT from it and out of that "masterful disaster" will come likely the best thing I will have ever built. Never give up and all of us can be "masterfabrs" if we wish!!!
