From what I've seen 1 1/2". Some 1 5/8" & even 1 3/4" in the main cage. Wall thickness? no idea. Never bothered to ask. If you are racing check the reg's. If you are not racing check the reg's. If its good enough for a race car its good enough for a play toy

My brothers rhino was 1.75 inch by .065 or even .045 wall thickness on the upper
main stock roll cage bars. Very thin material used. We cut the bolt on sections off the 1.75 stock thin tubeing an slid them into 1.5 inch by .095 tubeing welded them in and built an entire new cage for his rhino. Then was able to unbolt and send it to powder coat. After powder coat bolted it back on and was all set. All the racers change over to 1.5 also and use approx. .095 and .120 wall thickness. .120 is better but heavier so up to you. I use it on my race car but its my life so I don't mind the extra weight ratio when it comes to saving my butt. ![]() A rhino is smaller and lighter so the .095 is fine. But 1.5 by .095 is really good and meets any specs for racing etc. if you ever wanted to know. Good luck. ![]() Here is the post of his cage I did. My Brothers Rhino.
