I have never said I was right about anything I merely stated what I have experienced. And I am rather proud of the fact that I am able to do this for fun at 69 and still work 50 hours a week in the shop

But you have made this experience feel like a BAD marriage!
I've got lots more fun things to do than sit here on the computer and justify every word to you
I would like to make something perfectly clear here and I hope this will do so while putting this to rest. First and foremost,ARROWHEAD I APOLOGIZE for rubbing you the wrong way. It was not completely intentional. It seems we just clash for some reason. That really sad. I do feel that you have a lot to offer here.It is apparent you have skills and talents. If you can forgive me and some others from wanting to know where those skils and talents come from it would be nice if we could put this in the past. Livewire stated it very well I think and in all honesty FWIW that's probably what has happened here.Again sorry and I really feel we could get along well. I kind of like your style,AH.

Master,

I am not looking to beat this to death.

That’s not what I am saying at all. My comment is specific to resume. My point was that you would accept then reject or demand further proof of the same information. That is illogical.

The general theme is “mini buggy.” That can have infinite subsets, but that is the reason for the board: To discuss the subsets. If we accept that a member has skills then we should likely respect that they have skills in all areas of the subsets. Some have greater skills than others. For example, Bajatex, way greater body skills than most. But, using him again as an example, because we recognize he has skills in body, we can infer that he has skills in other areas.

Me? I got no skills. You? Got skills. Arrowhead? Got skills. StealthSand? – Got fewer skills than me.

To debate any subset is where the knowledge of the board comes in. But, there is no need to start the debate by demanding proof of resume on each new topic. Likewise there is no need to demand proof of resume in the event that you disagree with somebody’s position. Doing so does not make your position stronger. IMO that is goading.

If we move from the general topic of “mini buggy” and all those subsets, it is entirely appropriate to question resume again. But if we do that, we would no longer be on the minibuggy board.

Thanks for keeping an open mind.

I think livewire said it best and what I subscribe to. I'm sorry but I cannot accept the premise that because someone has, for example, painting skills that they would or should have suspension skills because they are a good and very knowledgable painter. Or that because someone has driveline knowledge that they would necessarily have cage design skills. To make the blanket assumption that if someone is good in one buggy subset they are good in another is ,IMO only, flawed.

Bash Fabr??? Where do I get in line! Heck lets make it a reality show! I am JK of course. I have the same problems with MF as most do now and then. Lord knows I aint his favorite. Sometimes he does things that I do not like or approve. I do agree with some that as a MOD he should show a bit more restraint in many cases. (Especially as a Super Mod?) No ones perfect but he can push people buttons the wrong way (Hes got a gift for it) and TO ME thats where most problems start between someone and him.

That said me and ArrowHead got off on a bit of a bad note when we first talked in a thread on MBN but I really like his machine and feel he can contribute a lot with his know how and ideas AND I HOPE he decides to STAY.

As for Yummi.....What kind of cookies? Bill
