Let’s assume a spirited debate with equal participation. That would be 85 posts on either "side" of the chro-mo vs. mild and light wall vs. well, you know something not so light.

Lets then figure one half of the total posts for that "side" represent the “half truths and BS” of which Master speaks. That makes about 42.5 posts on each side just pure nonsense in Master’s mind. Or, could there be an excess allotment of 1/2 truths and BS?

Master has 57 total posts in this thread. Coincidence?
Hell you don't even know what the debate is about. chro-mo vs.mild and light? What the hell are you talking about? You must be on the side that's completely wrong.

I haven't read every post in this thread because most of it just aint worth reading.
I am curious if there has been any thing in here that brought up about
INTENDED USE
If you are a younger man that lives in Oklahoma and you spend your time trying to launch from a sand dune and land on the effing moon and conttinue riding across the moon, and you are selling to the public where all use and control is out of your hands. Then you need to go with the heavier material and put in all posible bracing.
From everything I have seen Yoshi does this.I would consider his are probably some of the toughest buggys built.

Now on the other side of the coin if you are one of us guys that are a little more "seasoned" I turn forty eight 8-11-08 you may have a different driving style. If Arrowhead is on the lighter side of material selection that might be because he is a little lighter on the go pedal.Arrow doesn't sell to the public so I think he probably knows when to go over, and when to go around.
Now I hope none of this has hurt anyones feel bads.I just wanted to point out that there can be a lot of differense in how this stuff is used.

Pat you've nailed it. I'm sooooo tired of reading post after post after post that never considers end use, size of buggy, power level,etc.. All we ever hear is "this is the ONLY way that is correct". You do realize that one size fits all don't you? I'm getting very weary of trying to get people to realize that you must take many things into consideration. If a person cannot do that then they shouldn't be building a buggy. I'm just gonna give up .I've had it.

An open mind is a virtue-----so long as all the common sense has not leaked out!

Holy @#%$ it took me two hours to read this thread( I a little slow) and I can never get it back! Why, Why did I keep reading, did I learn anything? Dale made a light car thats about it.
SSC can't claim lightest and fastest in the dunes anymore. Not sure what they're made from but I endoed mine and bent the frame out of square, I did however walk away which is the most important.
Dale BTW I like the buggy, looks like lots of bracing, and sounds like it is holding up( 4 plus seasons)
