I would call around your local Fab or Machine shops first. They should be able to get it at a discount but turn around to sell it to you at retail so it all ends up at the same price but right in town for you to pick up. If you know someone that works at a Fab or machine shop they may beable to get it through their work at cost. Thats what I do anyway.

Man, i called around to local companies here, and some were 50-75% more than what i could buy from the steel company, the steel company "alro" is a pain in the ass, but it worked out...It seems now days, guys would rather get rich on one sale, then to make monay on 3-4 sales, and in trying to get rich they sell nothing....Guess its the american way now days...

That sure sucks... Probably woul dnot hurt to make a few calls though, you never know.

If you were close by I would get it all for you at my cost. I would not need to make $$$ on lengths of tube. I get it all delivered to my work in 24 ft. lengths. I have delt with metal supermarkets but they are a bit expensive. One good thing about them is they will cut it all for you at your requested lengths for no additional charge.
