Default Frame design question

I have a quick question for all of the senior members of this forum who have made quite a few buggys. What is stronger, a roll cage with forward and rear hoops, or a roll cage with the hoops going from the front to the back?

Might depend on weather you plan to endo the buggy or barrel roll it.

Good question. All early stuff had roll hoops tied together with a couple of tubes going fore and aft. Nowdays its the other way around. The early setup generaly put tubes directly overhead where as the newer style moves the tubes outward giving more head room. I kind of think the newer style is prone to cracking sooner if there is flexing going on. I think it comes down to what you like.
