Default Building a frame around a 150cc GY6

I am new to building buggies I have experience welding and with auto mechanics , I have a 150cc motor that I want to build a small buggy around. I know it won't be a super fast buggy but i have the motor and it's only got about 1000 miles on it so I figure its a good way to start. If anybody could point me in a good direction to start with building a frame I would really appreciate it. I am hoping to build it with the old man I have a somewhat limited budget but so home fabrication is what i'm looking for so diresctions to plans would be helpful.

I have a two seater buggy that came with that engine. Its top speed is around 40mph. If you could build a one seater and make it as light as possible it would be a really fun ride. There are so many different mods that you can do to those engines its not even funny. I'm pulled mine out to make room for a 400cc turbo engine. As soon as I can get the picture thing figured out I will be starting a thread on the build. I have some pics of a custom frame I did on a 4-wheeler. Here is the link to that thread, Walmart 4-wheeler gets overdue surgery the pictures are under my profile. If you have some questions let me know. I did all my frame design on turbo cad. Its nice to see that all your parts will go together before you start using material.

I would look for a a old crossfire, dune, or or punisher frame. There already some what long travel. You can cage the rear and make irs. Lengthen the font a-arms and change some mounts around. Get some arctic cat shocks for the front and blaster shocks in back. I got the same motor with alot of work. It'll run with a 4 stroke 250 if modded right. It'll climb bout anything if you got enough travel to get over it.

You cant build a frame for what you can buy one of these for
