Default Hellllp!! What size tubing is this???

Hi guys,
I've been calling all over the place trying to find a supplier for my chassis/suspension component tubing. The problem is, as soon as you start talking millimeters nobody knows what the hell you're talking about (go figure)- I'm looking for the closest North American equivalent to the following (taken from my Barracuda plans)

25NB x 2.6 Pipe - 23000mm DOM
20NB x 2.3 Pipe - 28000mm Chromoly

The confusing part is the "NB-Nominal Bore"- it implies that measurement is the inside diameter, my suppliers need to know what the outside diameter of this pipe is...in inches I'm assuming the 2.6 is referring to the wall thickness, correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks in advance fellas,

Vernon

25.4mm = 1"

if 25 is the ID and 2.6 is the wall thickness, that is around 1 3/16, kind a bastard size and .102 wall thickness. So maybe look at 1.25" .095" wall. I use that size quite a bit.

The other ones ends up a bit shy of 1" and .0906 wall. 1" .095" wall or .083" wall would probably be good there.

Are you looking to use pipe or tubing. Your post mentions pipe .

Pipe is measured by I.D.
Tubing is measured by O.D.

Lol...that's a good point .
What should I be using??
Got a quote in DOM tubing today...$3.95/ft, seems pretty reasonable. Chromoly was $6.95/ft, more expensive as expected but not outrageous.

It's a place called EMJ here in Edmonton (780)432-5505. I haven't actually ordered my DOM yet, still trying to finalize my sizing etc before doing so. I was quoted $3.95/ft x 75ft for 1.25" - .095" DOM. The guy I spoke with was Paul, he was very helpful.

Thanks man...much appreciated. It was mostly the Nominal Bore(NB) thing that was confusing but this is good information.
