Hello everyone
Im newbie. I was wondering what frame I should go with. I am looking into my next project for next winter and want to get a head start on figuing what what I will need to do it. I want to build a Mini Buggy for hear in the Muddy Mid-West. Mostly for woods Dirty Tracks and Open Grassy Feilds. Some climbing and Rolling over fallen Trees. I am 6'3" 235lbs. I would like something a little longer but still narrow enough to go through the woods. Other specs I'm looking into is I want to power it with the Hayabusa motor or a Z1000. I would also like to have it Four wheel drive if possible also Reverse would be nice. (not for sure if the last two would be possible with using a Busa motor) So my question is what type of frame would be a good Idea to look into for this? Plus Who sells good frames for a limited budget. Not low just limited. Thanks for any help. |

Welcome to MBN!
That's a big challenge to build a 4wd busa powered trail rig and try to adapt an already built frame to make it work. Really sounds like a total custom design. There are several threads here about 4wd projects and only one MC powered here actually constructed that I remember. Do a member search for Rustynuts. |

Thanks for the info
Like I also said it may not be thesible with me to be able to do this. But I am open to other opions. lol Maybe have to go with an ATV motor and driveTrain. I just want it to be Fast in the wide open and have lots of power. I am used to riding a Street Bike (Hayabusa) I love speed but I love to play around in the woods and mud. I'll keep looking around for things I might be able to use. Thanks again for the Name to Search. P.S. it may not have to be a total custom frame build. I could modify a frame to fit my application. I'm just not set up to build an entire frame from scrap. |
