There are many of us in the NW. Maybe as many as 20. I'm in Vancouver.

Don't forget the Oregon boys! We need some sort of calendar schedule so we can see who is going where and when so all the Northwest gang can get together and meet everyone.

Not really a local thing, but a lot of East Coast Pilot owners are going down to Glamis for a west coast ride. Its in january.

I'll be at the oregon dunes this thanksgiving, and im around on the trails by mount rainier..until they close.

Lets get something going. I may not have something as fast as plk's machine, but I atleast have a machine and 3 weeks of vacation to use!

The problem with a fast machine is that you need a bigger area to ride! The area around my house seems to be getting smaller, but with gas prices the way they are, I can afford to actually go somewhere.

A faster machine always gets you into more trouble too.

We make a sand lake trip either one of the two last weeks of June, or one of the two last weeks in July.

Im here in Olympia.....
My dune schedule is pretty easy to remember
Memorial day weekend
July 4th weekend
dunefest or sandfest
labor day weekend
And generally a few other weekend mixed in between the holidays. Its mostly based on weather because IMO riding in the rain/fog/cold sucks.
Also El Toros web site has a calander section that should list upcoming trips.

BTW all the dates listed are for the Oregon dunes.
Either Spinreel/Horsefalls area, Wincester Bay, or Florence

I'd definitely be up for a local trip sometime. I'm in Bellingham. My usual routine is ... I typically go to the Tri Cities 5 or 6 times a year to run at the Horn Rapids ORV Park (just outside Richland) or at Juniper Dunes (outside Pasco just off the Kahlotus highway). An Oregon Dunes trip with people familiar with that area would be fun.

Anyone know the latest word on access to Juniper Dunes. For those of you unfamiliar with Juniper, it is WA biggest dune and there have been issues with accessing the dunes through private property. This place remains uncrowded even on holidays, its kind of a secret stash of good sand.
