Hey Tut,

My family and I will try to make it out. I don't know how well a baby will do (new to this infant stuff) but it would be a fun event to attend. I will talk to you later about the details. Sounds like it will be a lot of fun. Thanks.

So I was thinking.

Likely each of us knows somebody who has been touched by Cancer. A cure for one is a good step for all the other forms. My sister is a breast cancer survivor. So, the plan, pending Tut approval, is this:
I will donate a specific dollar amount per mile completed to the cause. If you win class, I will double it. Win overall – I will triple it. Thirty percent (30%) of my total pledge will go to Tut Tech to offset the costs and seventy percent (70%) will go to “Race for the cure” – aka Susan G. Komann foundation.
Tut, I sent a PM with the $ per mile pledge.

In exchange, I would ask for two very small stickers to be placed on the car with my sister’s name. Not big – think Avery mailing label – something very easy to make on any pc with a printer. Approximately 1” x 3” with her name for the “ride along.” Very easy to remove after the race. Might be an idea to try and “sell” the stickers for each supporter?

Good luck on the run.

I think that's a great idea with the sticker.
Just off my head a sticker that might say
Racing In Support of "her name"
Racing for a Cure "her name"
In Support of "her name"

Something like that could be good and would totally do that.
Could be a great sticker and sure awesome idea.

They do not want to do winners and loosers anymore as everyone wins for raiseing money etc. Plus they don't want people coming out feeling like they have to win etc.
they want them to come out and have a good time.

So hard to do the winner, and over all. Well over all is easy and we are way away
from that.

At our 55 mph top speed and class 1's top speeds around 130mph ya we can say
not going to happen on that one.

But yes Please we would love the support and Totally take you up on the $ per mile completed.

The course does not have a set amount of miles.
You get 3.5 hours to go as many miles as you can on a 20 mile loop.
Last year in our little red car she went 5 laps. So she did 200 miles.
She had no problems but if they don't feel you can do another lap in time they
stop you etc.
So we should be able to do the exact same again this year.

Wow so cool thanks guys.
Very cool.

We have time to work out plenty of details before then but Yes lets do this
and make it happen.
Its people like you guys supporting people like us that you really don't even know
that makes this all happen.
You guys are outstanding people for supporting us which then supports this cause
and helps people out.
Amazing thank you so much,
Tut & Pepper Cote'

As always if you can come watch please do.

No winners? Doh! What has the racing world come to?

Yeah yeah, good cause, feel good, do the right thing. OK, fine, I get it. Besides, it involves two of my favorite things, dirt and . . . . (Oh this could be too easy here). . . .well, more dirt.

We will call Pepper the “mini buggy class” winner, double my pledge per mile and call it good?

Chat later.

wow she is so excited she sent you a pm personally.

I wish they had a mini buggy class.
Maybe if more of you showed up we could do it.
We need 10 buggies to make a new class.

So far that's uhm.... 1... me.

Thank you so much and the sticker idea is great.
We will work that out as its very cool.
I think something like the Racing in support of and then the name.
And a 5x7 photo afterwards of the race sent out to any person that say donates
atleast 25.00 bucks would be totally do able.

I like it great idea Yummi.

Thank you so much and wow double donation! My wife is nervous now.
She does not want to mess up and let you down.
Ha ha...

Told her don't worry and don't brake the car run 70 to 75% all day save the car and finish a nice 200 miles.
Her and the car should do it within 3.5 hours.
I will prep extra careful in hopes nothing goes wrong.
She would be so sad if it broke down on her and we have been doing good
lately.

Sorry I am going on and on but I am also excited for her and for the donation thank you so much.

Tut.

OK I am going to bump this topic as the race is only a month away and just
wanted to remind everyone that this race is coming soon.

Anyone wanting to come out let me know.
Anyone wanting to help sponsor please again either let me know or contact
my wife.

We just came back from a great weekend of racing and the car needs just a few
little things and we will be all set.
I tweaked a rim and tire so I have to fix that for her and maybe a CV or a few little things
to have ready just in case.
But other wise the car is in the garage and being taken apart and prepped as we speak
for her next race.

Anyways just letting everyone know its a really fun day to come and watch them all
race is very exciting and really cool to show your support for all of them.
A lot have never even raced or hardly driven and some just Kick Butt!!

If you have a car join in you can sign up all the way up until the day of the event right
there at tech so think about it.

200.00 dollars to join.
That's it? You will spend more than that at Glamis etc.
Some fuel etc. and your woman of choice that you let drive the car will love you for it
for a long time.

Anyways hope to see some of you out there.
If you do go let me know and be sure to come find me and say hi.

Hey Tut -

We (family) are supposed to be up there next weekend. I'll try to find your pit and stop by to say hello. We're going to be camping up there for the 3 day weekend (Stoddard Wells) and check out the race on Saturday. Sounds like fun!
