You mean to say your using a Scrambler 500 tranny (and motor maybe??)

And your trying to figure out how to make a rear spool with 12 spline shaft for common VW flanges? Driven by a chain?

Your looking for one of these just with vw flanges instead of 930, right? Ask Protodie if he can make one.

Hello to Everyone who has posted useful information on here, and just a wave to those who haven’t. I am looking to build a mini rail in the near future. I have already started to get an inventory on parts, Honda 300 front spindles, a set of Long travel chrome, (Perdy) A-arms, A Yamaha FZR600 engine, well about 3 of them, with wire harness and all parts. I have read a lot of posts on here and I am set with the plan to use the 930 axle. Like that of ProtoDie or Yoshi. How do I find the Right OAL of the splined center shaft? I have had a hell of a time getting a mental pic of how the 930 IDS on these go together, is everything custom? How do I get the sprocket and brake Rotor to mount on this? Do they have to be custom drilled for the bolt pattern on the 930 CV? Is there any chance someone could post an exploded view of a 930 IDS with labels on the parts? With some dos and don’ts. Explaining parts, patterns, anything that you may think is useful for a person who has never actually been around these machines. Thanks again for all the information I have been able to get here so far. Don L

This is a photo of what I am working with.

Welcome to MBN!

If you buy from Proto or Yoshi it will be pretty much turn key as far as I know. From there you can continue with design.
