It's been doing fine. I haven't really noticed anything major that I would change. If I was starting from scratch with the whole car I would probably lined up the sealing surfaces that I used when mounting the RPM and the engine. That way I wouldn't have needed to build up on the back plate to get the sealing distances correct. I would have just been one flat piece. Wasn't too big of deal but it would have simplified the chain case a little bit.
The use of about a 1/4" offset CS sprocket would be better. I used a flat sprocket with spacers behind it and got the sprocket to the edge of the splines. This took away the little splined washer that you fold over which would have kept my CS sprocket on in the last race and we could have finished better.... I guess that is a big one.
The rear sprocket can be flat since the RPM input has lots of spline to slide back and forth on and shim to align.
