I think I will do it on the lower arm and leave the upper with the same configuration so I have enough room to add a bypass if I want to. The lower arms take most of the load so... Thanks for the input. How much camber gain would be best? 2 degrees at full bump? 3 degrees?

4*

If you must keep the J-arm, I have some more suggestions......

If you replace the upper tubes with ones that fallow the blue line you will have a much stronger frame. Run the tubes on the outside of the shocks and make a little plate (green lines) cross brace shock mount combo piece. The way you have it now, theres way to much tubing between the front J-arm mounts and the main structure of the frame. And using your bumper as a structural component is never a good idea. One good endo would crumple your shock tower. Attach the bumper with weaker pieces of tube (yellow lines) that will give before the frame.

Sorry, can't help Myself........

More additions.

Put a bend in the upper arm mount tubes just past the shock so that they intersect the vertical tubes in the rear. Also, a little plate between the rear mounts.

Front cage on a truck, but similar to what you need for the bumper. Notice everything in front of the main cage is bolted on.

for your upper arm, instead of using individual tabs for each side, have the tabs built that go from side to side with some holes cut in the middle for the tubes to go through. There is more load with a j-arm, so not bracing between the 2 rear mounts could bend the tubes in.

You also may wanna run a couple diagonal tubes from the upper shock tower down behind the rear upper a-arm mount to strengthen both the a-arm mounts and the shock tower

This is how I setup mine...

I had a bit of free time today so I started making changes. I haven't put the front bumper section back on because it's easier to see whats going on like this. I am going to make a smaller sized tube sleeve down into those open ends to ensure it is a weaker member than the front end like bdkw1 suggested. Also reinforced the front end more. I also added a bulkhead for a-arm and j-arm mounts and also has the rack mount built into it. It is all drawn with key fit so it is easy to assemble (hopefully). Added more camber gain as suggested as well. It is hitting -4* at full bump while maintaining everything else. I need a cad file or measurements on the howe/latest rage/empi center load rack now. Does anyone have either? I need to get the steering knocked out.

Nice! I like the bulkhead with everything integrated in.

I have pretty much redrawn the entire car over. Switched the entire cage section and some other stuff to 1.5" tube. Changed some stuff on the front end. Plate lower arms. Switched from 10" to 12" shocks to cut down the motion ratio. Through the frame bosses on the rear lower mounts. Increased mount thickness on the lowers. Redid the bracing on the whole front end. Added more cab area to put the cell behind the seats. Increased the outer heim on the lower to a oversized shank heim to a square adapter. Redid the upper shock mount to something a little better braced.

So far I have the whole zx14 engine and running gear/gauges/fuel pump etc, the RPM FNR with 6.1:1 with input brake setup, tatum front hub's and brakes, all the steering parts, seats, fuel cell etc. I wanted all these parts and more before I start so I can put them into SW and design around them. The parts are starting to stack up in the shop.

Wow, I admire your skills.

Just a question, hope the smart guys will chime in and answer. On your prior drawings the front bumper was mounted to the front frame before the towers. This one mounts to the cage? Would it not be better to have the bumper mounted to the front frame instead of the cage for shock / load transfer? Also, brace would be less likely to break and impale a leg?
