Hey guys I would like some input from you that have some experience with either or both of these softwares. *I would like to use some 3d software to model my new car and design suspension etc. *Since this is a hobby I dont want to spend 5-10k on the software. *But...I want a software that is dependable, functional and fairly uncomplicated to use too. *Any suggestions you guys have would be appreciated. *Thanks...Chris

I have Alibre and it is fine.SW is BETTER. Alibre has improved greatly. SW is easier to use with fewer steps involved. Alibre is a little "quirky" but once you figure them out it works rather well. SW is more"normal"
and logical. Alibre is MUCH cheaper. All in all I like alibre for the price. |

I got my student version for 70. It's a two year license, but no cosmos stuff. You can renew if you are still a student.
