Thats a cool website you have there Hodala, wish i could read it.

I would like to read that article on the mini-mag too, that thing looks pretty well built and definitely ahead of its time.Do you own that mag or did you get it from the net?

Use the dreaded "google"......works great.....to the right of the "search" box are 3 lines of links....the bottom line is "language tools".....click on it and the 3rd option is "translate a web page....copy and paste the web address....select what language you want to translate from-to and walla! You can read it...sort of....

Happy Chinese New Year, Hodala. * [smilie=ext_beer2.gif]

I've seen and raced against the Mini-Mags. *Neat little cars.

The one that I've seen on the desert race tracks a couple of times was powered by some sort of two-stroke sled engine - I believe I heard it was 800cc, but I don't know what type.

The car worked pretty well. *At one race it was jetted very badly. *I think it was jetted for sea level or a bit higher and we were at 6000 feet (roughly 2KM). *It was having a horrible time with any sort of hill and was smoking very badly.

The other time I remember seeing it was down in Mexico. *I had a pretty hard time getting around it. *The little car could just barely out accelerate me out of the corners, but once we got up on the top of the sand, I walked away from him. *The dust was horrible and it took me a couple of miles to finally pass him.

I've also seen the car broken down by the side of the course a couple of times.

Still, considering how old the car is and the design is, it's a great little car.
