Alibre sketch to drawing

Anyone know how and if I can copy an item drawn in alibre sketch to an alibre drawing file so I can save it in .dxf ?

Can you open it in alibre, and save it as one? Or does alibre have an export function? Most of them can export the file as a dxf.

If while looking at the sketch, select new drawing from the menu and it creates the drawing file based on the sketch.

From sketch you canot export it in dxf or dwg.Only a drawing file can be exported as dxf or dwg. Thanks for the reply.
