2d cad

i am wondering if there is a simple 2d cad i can draw up plates in and make up dxf files for the laser cutters.

i have used the trail on alibre of the 3d cad but that has expired..

Unless they have changed Alibre offers a free version called Express. I had to call to get them to switch me when the full trial version timed out.

i have re-downloaded this but it says my current licence key has expired.

so i was wondering if there was something else. *just need to be able to draw up plates etc for mounts bulkheads etc.

dosen't have to be free also, *just something that will work.

Remove all of your current Alibre software and try a different email address and stuff, *I know I have downloaded express twice and the 30 day trial twice.



Edit: are you trying to use Express or the full version 30 day trial?

Odds are you have to "hack" the windblows registry to remove the line that makes mention of when the software was originally installed.........or if you haven't added stuff you can "restore" to a point before you installed it and get a "clean" reg. without the lines of code that mention the software.
