Default TurboCAD

Ok, so I finally have a laptop. We no longer have any Windows systems in our house, which is grand. But, the downside is, that Mac software is still somewhat limited. Thus far, all I've found in regards to CAD programs is TurboCAD. The program is $100, and looks to be decent for my needs. Has anyone used the Mac or Windows version, or will I get to be the sacrificial lamb?

Default Re: TurboCAD

I have TurboCAD, an older version. I was lucky to pick it up cheaply.
but I have bearly scratched the surface on how to use it effectively. I think I could benefit from some lessons so I can get into it. That's if any of the local colleges offer classes in TurboCad.

I find CAD software programs are very costly, and if you can't write it off as a business expense, that would probably put one off from purchasing that sort of software.

There's always the imagineering on a sheet of paper. That's how it got done before the advent of computers.

I guess that's where the sellers of buggy plans come in....

Most CAD programs are extremely expensive. Fortunately, the MAC version is a whoppin $100. I'm looking for a program for home design too, so, who knows. The paper route is another option too, however.
