    Is this possible?

Basically I want to draw graphics using my old mastercam 9 software and convert it to a format that the graphics dude can use to print with. My sister is a graphic arts/web design type but doesn't know crap about cad.

I can post the file types MC9 will save to if it helps.

I have a feeling it wont work.

Illustrator will import DWG or DXF files natively

When you SaveAs or translate the DXF, if prompted, select the max number of arcs, surfaces, closed lines, etc in order to keep the line quality up up up. In most cases you can just enter a stupid number like 99999999 and it will just default to its maximum. So at least you know you've max'd out the quality. Especially if using with Mach3 or something for cnc.

Thanks for the tip D', I'll take a look.

I sent my sister a DXF file(autodesk in MC9)and she was able to open it. But she has been to busy to really look at it.

    Thanks again guys.
