After seeing a few of each I would suggest you take a good look at the Barracuda from the edge as well.
The Barracuda is a step up in plans from the Piranha. Or look at RickS on this site for his Piranha mods to make it long traqvel with dual arms. HUGE improvement well worth the effort. Linky: Piranha double a front module

Talk to him. He (As far as I gathered) is planning on selling the complete front end and he may or may not sell the plans as a change to build it his way with a really good suspension VS the stock Pirahna. He may not as well.
BUT if he will not thats his decission. But if he chooses not to I would suggest you look into the Barraacuda before you commit to the Pirahna. Built to the plans its suspension is better.
