yah!I'd done it before(rear sus) on golf kart

front sus compact,saving space,while rear sus ok for a mini style with 2-stroke engine or electric motor, obiously comfortable than a single pivot cradle,and easily build of uniq axle is also the reason I put it in requisition
My former drawing as below for 250 scooter engine seemed to be a bad idea,mass below spring pretty much,also engine cradle take times to build
