Need to make sure the upright mounts (top to bottom) are at least an inch bigger than the mounts on the frame, maybe more depending on your application. If you don't, the top of the tire will tilt in at full extension, which will cost you a ton of travel as the outer cv will be your limiting factor due to the increased angle from the wheel tilting in......

I know, you've already got it built, so you've got some head scratching to do now, lol....

yea that definitely would a been good to know two weeks ago. Cause I had the frame mounts lasered with the wrong hole size for the pivot bolts and just had them recut last sat. .. damn I guess I could take an inch out of those ( frame plates ) and have it like your saying but then would the axle still fit through....crap Tooo many little things that can jack you all up on these long travel buggies I really wish i woulda just gone standard travel

yea i just made the changes you speak of in my model and i see exactly what your talking about.
And on my next buggy I am going to do that...lol I don't care if i loose three inches I have had this car since 09 and it has less that 3 full hours of run time .. I want it done and driving.. lol I am so over wanting to work on any of it

I'd actually just build new hubs, since going bigger on the hub will be stronger than going down on the frame, but don't just add length to the top or bottom, you have to space it out equally between the top and bottom otherwise it will cause the axle to not be inline with the suspension, which may over extend your axles.....
