Another thing to consider is an oil cooler. I made a sandwich adapter and plumbed in a cooler kit made by EMPI. That helped mine a lot.

Oil temps are often ignored and should not be. Most of us could benefit from one even if there is no apparent water temp. problem.

I’m going to add an oil cooler to my car, if any of you have a 2004 or newer Yamaha R-1 I have a good clutch saver for you. The clutch in the 2004 and newer don’t get much oil on them but I have a quick fix. You can run an oil line from the motor which has a plug that you pull out then run a line to the top of the clutch cover. You have to drill and tap the cover but this will make your clutch last 50% longer. I will post some pitchers of it.
