oil cooler ?
i am building a r1 powerd rhino got a rad that fits in the front but its really big no room for an oil cooler... i have the stcok radiator off the rhino with fan could i use this as an oil cooler or is that a stupid question???? it would work out great i have a place under the seat that it will fit no freash air but it would have a fan. would it work??????

That is too much volume. You want a cooler that has just one tube that runs through the whole thing. Permacool sells some, your you could hit the junkyard and scrounge a tranny cooler for cheap.

Also, doesn't the r1 have a oil-water cooler?

Thats exactly what I was going to point out. the R1 and R6 are both internal oin coolers. You can buy kits that adapt the oil lines out of the engine that allows you to use an external cooler. I sell those kit sbut if you engine is fitted with the oil cooler externally I would change it back to stock if you are concernd.
