I would disconnect the Power Commander first, quickest and easiest, and see if there is an improvement. I have heard of PC's acting up and loosing maps.

The Power Commander has to be matched for the year of motor, 2003 was the first year for 32 bit processor communication in the busa... but if it ran ok before, I would suspect that the PC is the correct one.

I am looking at the factory GSXR manual and it shows filters at each injector. I would check those also.

If there is metalic material in the injector filters then the fuel pump is coming apart... get ready for a big shock, those stock busa fuel pumps are not cheap.

I have a Pierburg fuel pump (from Outback Motosports) and I am running an Aeromotive adjustaable fuel pressure regulator. After 6 months the pump locked up, I tired cleaning it and wiring it backwards to clear it but no go. Called John up @ Outaback and 1 day later new pump. No problems since and that was 2 years ago.

I'll bet that your injector sceens are clogged, weve had this problem before I know somebody mentioned this before but I didnt read if you had checked and replaced them. They only cost 2.00 apiece at any injector shop.

Well it ended up being the injectors after all. They were all clogged up and alot of it was aluminum and I don't know how it got there. Thanks for all the help everyone.

Sounds like you could also have a fuel issue. I had the same issue when a small peice of debris got in my fuel pump. It started only at high rpms but got worse. I just pused fuel back through the pump and problem solved.

why can't you use a aftermarket fuel pump with regulater like glamisman?
and because they are buggys cant you just use gravity to feed the pump ie have the pump just below the bung on the tank what pressure are they requireing? this is for 2.3l ford engine but we hooked it up that way and never had a problem also was able to hook up a filter before the pump less damage to pump any thoughts...

A filter should ALWAYS be placed before the pump.

Mounting location for stock pump varies by bike and even year. 'Busa's came with both in-tank and out-of-tank pumps depending on year.

Mine has an external pump a few inches lower than the low point of the gas tank. The car has two gas tanks set up with a filter for each and a additional filter before the fule pump inlet.
