Question Oil cooler on gsxr600?

Hi all,

I have an '05 gsxr 600 engine in my rail that I'm upgrading and I picked up a radiator for a gsxr1000. I believe the 1000's use a separate oil cooler and the 600's use an oil cooler integrated in the radiator...am I right here? Anyhow, could I just get an oil cooler for the 1000, plumb it up and call it done, or should I be using a radiator for the 600? I'm still learning about this engine and the expertise here is always appreciated.

Thanks

Russ

I would use a separate oil cooler. I would use a larger radiator too. Try a Honda Civic radiator.

The smaller Toyota radiators I have found are perfect. THe MR2 even had a return line, for my R1.
