You should only be pulling the cable on a bike clutch about 1/2 inch. The throw at the foot should be around 3-4 inches. I have a feeling that you are only moving the cable a tiny bit, and it is locking up too fast.

If its hydraulic are you SURE that all the air is out of it? A system with air in it may do what you are expieriencing. You may also be right on with the size difference. Do you know the differance between the stock master the motor HAD vs what you have now?

Throw on my clutch is less than an inch, that's normal and you get use to it.......

If your car does not already have one, a clutch slave cylinder support bracket will protect the sidcase from your big foot and leg pushing on a clutch requiring hand strength. Sidecases break so protect it.

Can you install a limit bolt on the clutch pedal to limit throw? Doing that will protect the sidecase. With that set you could depress the clutch to the stop and not cause damaging overpressure. You would also know where to anticipate the clutch.
