I was in my LifeStand wheelchair , it works like normal wheelchair when I am sitting, it has gas shocks like what are hatchback cars that lift the hatch back door. The wheelchair has levers on the sides I push on so I am lifting about half my weight and the gas shocks lift about half. I thought I had the the down lock on and I did not. I undid the body restrains and was leaning forward to grab a tool, the chair popped up ,I went flying. I did it last Sunday , I am in no pain. I am able to transfer in and out my wheelchair and my minivan by myself with the broken leg, so its not a disaster.
