Default PAIR solenoid on GSXR 600

I am doing my electrical and was wondering if I need to keep the PAIR solenoid in the systems. According to the manual looks like it just injects fresh air from the air box into the head. Can I just put the hoses into a filtered breather? The motor is an 05.

Do away with everything and plug the holes in the head by tapping for a 6MM ,I think it is, set screw. You won't even have to drill out the holes .Just tap what's there.

You're welcome but I forgot to mention to not tap the hole all the way through.Just go deep enough to get the set screw approximately flush with the surface.seat the set screw firmly into the partially formed threads so it locks in place.
