Default No spark

I am repowering a single seat desert car using a 2004 GSXR600 and I am getting no spark. On my 2003 GSXR1300 Hayabusa powered car there is a resistor installed to fool the anti-theft provision and make it run... is there a similar set up in the 2004 GSXR600? I have the wiring diagrams for both motors and while similar, they are not the same... anyone come across this yet?

Yes, the computer will be looking for something between about 2.6 and 5.5 volts. If lower or higher then no spark. If I remeber right the stock circuit delivers 3.5 volts to the anti-theft circuit.

With input from a minibuggy.net participant (Al), I ended up installing a 100 ohm resistor between the orange / yellow wire and the Red +12 volt wire and it starts and runs. The wiring requirements are different between the 600, 1000 and the 1300 GSXR's. Is this the correct way to bypass the anti theft, I dont know... there are no error codes and it runs so only time will tell.
