Drakart 583 wiring diagram

Any body have any info on a rotax 583 wiring diagram. Google turned up nothing for me.
I need to check my magneto, lighting coil, ect.. on a 583 Drakart

I looked on the web for the engine related wiring diagram for the skidoo it came from, and in the "Snowmobile Forum" webpage

Get a Clymer's manual for it too. That's the manual I have, it has wiring diagrams in the back. There is a method for timing the rotary valve, I can post it if you want, but that Clymer manual is your bible for that sled.

yea I had already seen that and it does me no help..........thanks tho. I already tried and google like I had said did not help. Bing wont either.

I was hoping somebody with one of these dreadful Drakarts had some info since these are such a pain in the ass.

I cant get a manual or Clymer book because I dont know what the hell it is. Its a pieced together piece of shit. A 19?? 582 bottom end with a 19?? 583 top end. Thats all I know and all I have figured out after hours on the phone and hundreds of hours on a damn computer. So far DRAKART SUCKS NOBODY BUY A DRAKART>>>>>>>>>EVER!!!!!!!! Unless you built it and know what you have.

I have electrical issues so I need to find out what wires I need to check and see what they are supposed to put out. The stator/coils are not recharging the battery. So I turn on my lights and after 3 min they dim and my battery is completly dead.

I will amend this later but your voltage regulator should have three wires. A yellow black and a yellow, along with a red one. the yellow wires are 12v AC if I recall correctly I will be back later and add anything else that comes to mind.

I have 2 yellows going to a two wire plug and a 3 wire plug that has a red, red/black, and red. Thats what I have comming out of the lighting coil assembaly, its round with 12 coils on it. I dont know how many ohms there is supposed to be since I have no idea what year/model this sled engine is out of on this Drakart. All i know is that the Drakarts is a 2000 583...kind of...582 bottom end.

Hi there, iff you are running a 583 from a ski doo
you can get the shop manual at this site (chadt.us-snowmobikemanuals)
I got the 1997 manual and its the same as the 1994 engine i am using

ps all the measurements for coil and the rest of the electrics are there

if the regulator does not have a red wire it will not charge the battery, They have the same plug just less one wire..
