I am not using the stock ones. I'm using some momentary buttons that I had. They were brand new. I tested them with an ohm meter. They work. The thing cranks hard using the start button. I can't see them being the issue. I also verified that I have them hooked up correctly tonight.

I hooked it up to the clutch pedal with a new brake switch that you would use in a car. It work as it should. It keeps it from cranking unless the pedal is depressed.

Yes, Yellow/red ans Black/white are back there in the factory harness. Fuel pump works if you feed it ground to the coil wire on the relay or if you feed it power at the pump connector.

Yes, factory switch. It seemed like the easiest solution and you get a key to the buggy.

Normally open push button on the Start with the Yellow/Green on one side and the Orange/White on the other.

The Orange/White then gets jumpered to the Normally Closed Stop switch to one side and the other side gets the Orange/Black wire.

The Orange/Red and the Yellow/White are not hooked up on the start button as all they do is turn the lights off when it cranks the engine to save amps for the starter.

Just like in the schematic.

Check to make sure you have the B/Y not only going to the starter relay but also the ECU...
