Default Gauge/Switch Box

Can I get some pics of what you guys are running as a switch box. I have thought about making a dash, but there is a support bar across where I would make the back side of the dash. I have looked at the center consoles that mount on the floor, but the are too long and will get into my gas pedal....

Any help would be great.
Thanks in advance

I bought a small 4 inch aluminum box for a dash, then screwed it into a tab to hold it. You can see it on my youtube vid of the walk-around.

The 4 inch is small, and only holds 4 switches or so, so I had a hell of a time fitting 4 switches, the ignition, and an indicator light. The 9 inch would be more suitable for multiple switches, or even a gauge. Pacific customs and dans performance parts carries the dashes.

I ran a pre made unit for a while but needed more gauges so I custom made my own....its similiar to these(Pacific Customs: Switch Boxes and Consoles and Dune Buggy Parts, Sandrail Parts, VW Parts ) but bigger.

I looked into prefab boxes also, I also looked at a lot of dashboards of cars and I came to the conclusion that anything more than an large red idiot light for oil pressure and a coolant temp gauge was for show and/or the owners ego.
