Well you know the first challenge and we need say nothing more.
You will not go wrong seriously considering a Rorty R16 Shotgun. It has the suspension features you described and the RX1 is hot stuff. If it were me I would build from plans unless you are a mechanical engineer with the requisite knowledge. Otherwise, the Rorty plans will achieve the desired outcome most efficiently.
